The Journey’s End, Yardley, Birmingham

Pub #2351:

Less than halfway through the day’s travels, I reached the Journey’s End named not for my half assed run route but for the fact that it is the nearest pub to the Yardley Cemetery.

While the barlady pulled my cider, I spoke with a fellow incredulous — as is too often the case — that I was drinking after a run.  “Not after.  Just refeuling for the run home.”  Even more surprised, my new mate was, to find out the rest of the way was more than 9 miles away.  I can’t be the only one doing this…or, maybe….

I run and go to pubs. That's about it, really. Pronoun: I couldn't care less how you refer to me ... I'm dealing with ADULT problems.
