Easily forty punters in the Swan at 11:45 and some looked like they regularly close the joint. I’m beginning to think this is just Erdington… y’know, the Lowell Massachusetts of the West Midlands.
And, it’s not just old folks in contrast to the Red Lion. Spotted several groups in their late 30s to mid 40s and a number of women (again, not pensioners). Maybe not so much the Lowell MA vibe as the working class area of ANY midsize city in the States (looking at you St Louis, Atlanta, Tucson and so on).
Yeah. Erdington is fast becoming my favorite drinks site.
