CD boxes

Along with the mortar ingredients for the wall, I had some sheet lumber delivered to fashion some music storage. [Kids: CDs were these little, disk shaped digital storage devices for music which record companies had the hubris to think they could replace vinyl and, despite this failure, are still everywhere –especially around our house.]

Held together with screws and Gorilla Glue, sanded, primed, and painted we then attached some file cabinet label holders in what will eventually — but not immediately — be a vain attempt at organisation. Ingredients: one full sheet of 12mm MDF, 216 screws 3 x 25mm, glue, sandpaper, primer, paint, brass label holders. Yield: 9 boxes holding a little over 300 CDs.
